This use to be a song i was trying to write. . . I failed miserably at the song but played around with some ambiance i created by accident and turned it into a piece or sound design instead. Good for a scene change in a horror film i suppose.

Instruments used for sounddesign: pro 53 (sound of car and wind) and the freeware synthesizer da hornet (artificial horror sound). Slow lfos, filter and pwm modulation,3 voice unisono, internal chorus fx (pro 53), no additional effects, faded out. Da hornet - fast pitchmodulation.

Scary ambient sounds. . . Almost musical, perfect for a horror scene in a movie or a game. Try morphing it further by reversing and/or time-stretching it!. Fully made with a 7-string electric guitar, a line 6 pod x3, and delicious amounts of post-processing, sampling and vst effects :d.

It's a sound you usually can hear in a horror movie. It makes your blood freeze if it wasn't ice already. It has medium attack and very long decay. The sound's timbre is similar to what a metal gong could do when hit inside a cathedral. Synthesized with zynaddsubfx inside lmms. Rendered as 96khz/32-bit. Edited and normalized in audacity.

Zoom h4n 2018 - onboard microphones. This is an unprocessed recording of the pilot light being repeatedly lit and then extinguished on a natural gas fire globe. This would be perfect for the sound of any gas device being lit such as a grill, boiler, pool heater, water heater, stove, oven, etc. . . I have give you many variations to choose from and provided some audio of the flame once lit that can be easily looped. This is a (-nother) synthetic soundscape i did some years ago, reminiscent of a wide, enclosed, dark cavern, very good for subtly underlaying film scenes playing in appropriate locations. Originally, it is a recording of me blowing on a beer-bottle, captured by a sennheiser condenser mic, and then receiving some attention by the yamaha multi-effects generator in my university back then. I still like and use it a lot today.

Composed in musescore, synths added with lmms, additional sound done with audactiy. Starts out with bass drums, progresses to synths held on one note, then snares. Double bass creates rising tension. For bone-clicking sound effects, i just shook a handful of pencils. Cymbals at the end for final climax of the sound. Sound design originally for use by twoallnighters comic dub studio on youtube.
